U-2s are normally painted in a drab, all black paint scheme. One exception was U-2C 56-6722 which was painted in an all white scheme operated by the Air Force Flight Test Center. After its retirement, this U-2 now resides in the National Museum of the United States Air Force in Dayton, Ohio.
